Why a Combi Boiler?

Combi boiler system set-up

If you have a regular or system boiler established in your home, you will either have a hot water storage cylinder or a storage cylinder combined with a cold water supply in the attic.

This means that your home requires more space to accommodate the tanks in either an airing cupboard or additionally in the attic.

Combi boilers are different. They have their cold water supplied directly from the mains ready to be heating inside the combi boiler unit. This means that no other tanks are required.

Therefore, 30kw combi boilers are far more efficient and reliable due to fewer parts, fewer tanks, and less space needed. Check out our guide on the best 30kW combi boilers on the market to find an option most suited to your needs.

The hot water is heated inside the boiler and available on-demand when needed.

The only downside to a combi boiler is the fact that they do not provide as much hot water to larger homes unless the unit has a small internal tank as available on some models.

Let’s look at the core features of the Vokera Vision 25c combi Boiler:

Is This Boiler Right for my Home?

This Vokera Boiler is a fast heating boiler which is certainly capable of heating a bath, shower, or home central heating in record time.

There’s no waiting for hot water either with the combi system heating water quickly inside the boiler system.

In terms of home size, this is a perfect boiler for properties with 2-3 bedrooms and one bathroom. For central heating, it will be perfectly adapted to heating a 2-3 bedroom home with up to 15 radiators so make sure to count them up to see if it’s suitable for you.

If you need more power go for the bigger Vokera Vision 30c or if you have high hot water demand the Vokera Vision 25s system boiler.

The design of this boiler is extremely highly engineered, such as the optional pipe helping to cover and provide a neat finish.

This boiler is also extremely compact and has dimensions of 715mm (H) x 405mm (W) x 248mm (D).

This means it can be hidden away where you wouldn’t even notice it such as a kitchen cupboard.

What about the Warranty?

Vokera Vision 25C Combi Boiler

Warranty chat rears its head again here at Green Central! As always,  we only recommend boilers with higher warranties. We figure after years of experience, that the warranty period represents the confidence a manufacturer has in a system.

This boiler is no different but it has a somewhat high standard warranty of 5 years as standard and 7 years if installed by an accredited fitter. This is an average warranty period however Vokera does produce very high-quality boilers so we wouldn’t let this affect our decision too much.

Conclusion:

We think that the Vokera Vision 25c is a perfectly good and respectable boiler with a great price and ultra-lightweight for ease of installation. We think it is a boiler that we would recommend for say, a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home. We’d rate this system an average 6/10 as other similarly priced systems are better performing. If you’re looking for other options from this brand, check out our guide on Vokera boiler prices and reviews.

We always try to recommend other alternative systems based on our experience and reviews. Our eternal favourites are always the Viessmann boiler systems. Viessmann boilers offer fantastic efficiency, price, warranty, easy maintenance and more. We would recommend the Viessmann Vitodens 100-W as it is 30KW, has higher efficiency, better internal components, better LCD panel, and more. For more Viessmann boiler prices and reviews, check out our guide.
