Gledhill Cylinders – Unvented & Vented Hot Water Cylinders

A green and yellow gradient background with white gridlines. Text reads "Gledhill Cylinders - Unvented & Vented Hot Water Cylinders," next to an image of a white cylindrical water heater, highlighting the reliability akin to a Baxi Boiler Warranty.

Gledhill is a UK leader in hot water and heating solutions. Gledhill was established in 1926. Quality, innovation, and reliability are the core of their business and strive to provide durable and efficient products that meet the needs of customers.

They manufacture a variety of hot water cylinders in both vented and unvented configurations, including the popular StainlessLite range. Gledhill provide a variety of best hot water cylinders to meet the needs of growing families or central plants suitable for new housing developments.

Foam insulation was first introduced in the manufacture of domestic hot water heaters in 1965. This was introduced by Gledhill, the first UK cylinder manufacturer to do so where they electrostatically applied the foam by the Ransberg Disc technique

All Gledhill products will work well with the best system boilers and conventional boilers in the UK

What Gledhill Hot Water Cylinders Are Available?

Made from high specification duplex stainless steel, our STAINLESSLITE PLUS range is built to resist all potential corrosion including stress and crevice

It is strong and durable due to its high mechanical strength. Automated welding, post-weld pickling, passivating treatment, and automated welding ensure that every individual weld is as strong or stronger than the parent metal.

The StainlessLite Plus cylinders have been pressure tested to 12 bar – four-times their normal working pressure – and injected with 50mm of our HCFC-free EnviroFoam insulation. This will ensure that you are able to enjoy the highest levels of energy efficiency.

The STAINLESSLITE PLUS RANGE comes in direct and indirect options. It is also available in sizes from 60 litres to 400 litres. They are compatible with solar thermal technology, heat pumps or a hybrid system that uses both.

The openvented boilers are for use with header tanks and conventional boilers, these are the ones where you may find your header tank leaking in the loft or similar!

The StainlessLite Plus slimline cylinder or the StainlessLite Plus vertical cylinder are both available. This is one of the first domestic horizontal unvented cylinders that has been approved by NSF and there is a cylinder for every task and any requirement.
